July In The Northwest Angle

Peg, and I had a great trip to the Angle to go fishing in Ontario, and you can see in the pictures the weather was awesome! It was Peg's first nights away from Kellyn and she earned her stripes! Kellyn had a tough time and got sick the day we left which made things a little dicey but Grandma & Grandpa Linda & Peter were great with her back in Duluth, and we appreciated the support from Grandma & Grandpa Cathy & Doc. Peg was a star with the Walleye's and even impressed Lance (my friend and our guide) with knowing at least as many lyrics as he did to 80's songs in the boat.

Our Shore Lunch Friend

Lance told us he has been seeing this same turtle with the scar on its head for as long as he has been coming to this spot for shore lunch (20+ years).

Time to Head Home

Kellyn actually enjoyed having her feet in Lake Superior after they thawed out!
